The Performance of Like-Minded People

The performance was part of my bachelor project in 2020. The work dealt with the artistic religious heritage within Orthodox Christianity and was a holistic and theatrical experience that consisted of several different mediums.

In the performance, that lasted for about 20 minutes, I wore a costume that I designed, constructed and sewed. During the first part, I’m standing with my back faced towards the crowd, making slow letter shaped movements (SONUS VIRTUS FLATUS) which are also reflected on my headpiece. Later on, I face towards the crowd and move towards an antique typewriter where I start writing a manifesto. The content of the writing is poetic, symbolic and invites your attention and senses.
